Welcome to Perenuka Paintball.
Te Anau's only commercial paintball field, set in farm land just 5Km outside the township and sharing space with Perenuka Mountainbike Park.
We love the sport of paintball, a fantastic physical game with elements of excitement, hilarity, team work, strategy and guarantied to get your blood pumping.
2 Fields to chose from available for group bookings any day of the week.
Fields
We currently have 2 Fields.
A "woodsball' field, larger is size and set in native scrub with a couple of man made hide behinds including the central fort.
Tournament or "speedball" field, approximately 50x40m in each direction, with all man made shelter and mirror imaged to give a level playing field.
Equipment and what to expect
You will be supplied with a paintball marker chronographed to shoot at 280ftps, high grade paintballs selected through extensive testing to fly well, break consistently, are non-toxic and eco friendly, these are propelled by compressed co2 gas. You will also get a pair of overalls to keep you clean and a full face protective mask.
All you have to bring is some closed toe shoes on your feet and your game face! Recommend to also have a drink bottle with you and you may want a pair of gloves.
Absolutely no drugs or Alcohol to be consumed before or after play. All participants will be asked to understand and sign a waiver.
The Rules of the Game
1. Goggles/mask must be worn at all times in the playing areas. Removal of goggles will result in a player being removed from the field.
2. No blind firing. (always have your eye on your target)
3. Marker guns must have safety on and be pointed at the ground in the safe/staging area.
4. No physical contact is permitted.
5. Only paintballs purchased from the Perenuka Paintball, are to be used.
6. Always listen to and follow the instructions of the marshals.
7. Never shoot a surrendered player with their gun/arm up in the air.
8. No player may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Zero tolerance.
9. No shooting players within 6 meters.
10. Under no circumstances are Referees allowed to be hit.
11. All marker guns on the field are chronographed to fire at 280fps or less.
